Woody's aims and objectives of the club are as
follows:
To provide a safe, stimulating and happy environment for each child in our care,
recognising that the welfare of the child is paramount at all times.
To promote equal opportunities: our policy will oppose any discrimination on the
grounds of race, ethnicity, ability, sex or religion.
To work in partnership with parents, and take account of any needs arising from race,
culture, language and religion, and to treat all children as individuals.
To provide opportunities and activities for all children to participate in and enjoy
with their peers, actively encouraging child initiated activity and game ideas.
To share information and advice with parents, welcoming them into the club at any
time, whether for formal or informal discussions. Confidentiality will always be respected.
To offer training for staff as appropriate, ensuring their personal and professional
development to update their skills.
To ensure a non-discriminatory environment for staff, parents and children at all
times.
To work in partnership with all other professional bodies.
Woody's breakfast, after school and holiday club is located onsite in a natural
environment, demonstrating standards which are second to none.
This enables parents to be confident that they are leaving their most treasured
possession, their children, in an environment where they will be happy, safe and stimulated throughout each session, and in a fun and relaxed environment in which they will
thrive.
